The Georgia Barbecue Association is the South’s newest up and coming barbecue competition sanctioning organization. Some of the best barbecue cooks are right here in the State of Georgia! Just a short time ago, the GBA was conceived by a handful of individuals who thought it was time to let the rest of the nation know that the best barbecue comes out of the South. Since that time, the Georgia Barbecue Association has grown to over 200 members, 100+ certified judges, coupled with 80+ competition cook teams and those numbers are steadily growing with each new month.
